Karakoli Ski Center is one of the three ski resorts in the Metsovo area. It is located on Mount Mavrovouni, at an altitude of 1,340m – 1,520m.
There are two ski slopes available, a blue slope, 900m and a green one, 1,100m which are served by an aerial, single chair lift, 800m long.
In the ski center, there is a chalet with a restaurant and a cafe, a ski school, ski equipment rentals and a spacious parking area.
Access to the Karakoli Ski Center is very easy, as it is right next to the old Ioannina – Trikala National Road, just 1.5 km from Metsovo. It is 50 km from Ioannina.
